Hi, I’m Alexandra McKay.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I work with teens, adults, and couples with concerns related to depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, trauma, life transitions, and mood-related disorders. My approach to therapy is person-centered and is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, sex therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, a highly effective and evidence-based model that focuses on understanding and transforming the emotional dynamics within relationships.
I am passionate about building strong therapeutic rapport with my clients, and understand that the foundation of successful therapy lies in creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood and supported. Feel free to get in touch today with any questions you have!
I am committed to providing the highest quality of care for my level of expertise and actively seek supervision from Lisa Coston, M.S., LMHC.
